Duty Free Shop | Live Bottle Painting

I often wonder, "Is this even work?"

In my work as a live event bottle painter and engraver, I have the privilege personalizing perfume bottles for customers at the Duty Free Shop at the Honolulu Airport. It’s one of my favorite places to be at and here’s why:

When a customer receives their personalized perfume bottle for the very first time, I get to witness their faces light up with excitement. These moments are priceless. Knowing that I've created something to be treasured for years to come, fills me with satisfaction. It's moments like these that make my work a true passion.

The art of painting and engraving:

Each bottle undergoes inspection and cleansing to ensure the paint adheres flawlessly. Once the bottle is prepared, I start the process.

Some opt for bold, vibrant colors, while others lean towards minimalist engravings. Regardless of the design, I always ensure that each bottle is completed within 5-15 minutes. After all, everyone has a flight to catch!

From Hawaii to a customer's home across the world, these bottles become cherished parts of people's lives. It's a privilege to play a small but meaningful role in this remarkable journey.

My work at the Duty Free Shop at the Honolulu Airport has been nothing short of incredible. I consider myself blessed to be able to pursue my passion and bring joy through my artwork.

So, should you ever find yourself passing through HNL, don’t forget to stop by and say hello. I'd love to create a personalized perfume bottle that's uniquely yours.

Happy painting!
